As of August 1st, the Common App application portal has been updated by the member schools for the 2021-2022 application season. The University of California application portal has also gone live for this season, too!
If you are applying for these colleges and universities this season, access these portals and set up your account. Be sure to use a professional looking e-mail address for these accounts, don’t use something like “[email protected]“, as you want to give a good impression.
Some colleges may also use the Coalition for College portal (such as the University of Washington), or their own dedicated portal (e.g. MIT, Georgetown University). Be sure to set up accounts for these as needed.
Links are as follows:
Common App: https://www.commonapp.org/
University of California: https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/
Coalition for College Access: https://www.coalitionforcollegeaccess.org/
Once you’re in, take a look at what’s required in terms of documents and information. This may include transcripts, lists of activities, letters of recommendation, and other information. Make a note of the deadlines and the tasks you will need to do.
Good luck. I will be happy to answer questions you may have.
